Project Overview
In September 2021, Gia Anh Investment Trading Co., Ltd. carried out a wear protection project for the cooling water beam at Hoa Phat Steel Plant.
The repair work was carried out on the cooling water beam, using KALCRET hard compound as the wear protection material.
The project images document the actual condition of the cooling water beam, the surface before KALCRET lining installation, the installation process, and the completed work.

Beam surface requiring repair
The cooling water beam required repair and wear protection for the protective layer in the working areas
Identify the correct lining area
The surfaces requiring repair had to be clearly identified to ensure that the KALCRET lining was applied to the correct areas of the cooling water beam

The lining had to be applied uniformly across the treatment area to minimize surfaces without adequate protection
