FAQs
GAC backs its turnkey Tivar 88-2 recessed-stud lining projects with a formal 24-to-36-month performance warranty. GAC guarantees continuous, blockage-free material flow with no bridging or sticking throughout the warranty period.
100% of the mechanical weld studs welded to the steel casing are tested via hammer-strike testing using a copper hammer to verify the weld integrity and detect any air bubbles or poor fusion. Once the welds pass inspection, GAC applies Kalfix epoxy and seals the cavities with ceramic plugs.
For Chinfon Cement, GAC implemented a combined wear-protection design: installing tough, high-impact Hardox 500 plates on sloping walls exposed to direct limestone impact, paired with chemical-resistant coatings in wet, cohesive material collection zones.
Rapid-setting wear mortars are prone to rapid surface water loss, which triggers shrinkage micro-cracks across the lining. Spraying Kalcure seals surface moisture, ensuring uniform hydration throughout the casting thickness, which prevents micro-cracking and ensures full compressive strength is reached within 24-48 hours.
Kalcret BTX utilizes silicon carbide aggregates, designed for temperatures up to 1.200°C and optimized for pneumatic dust erosion (e.g., coal pipes, preheater cyclones). Kalcret CTX utilizes synthetic corundum aggregates, designed for temperatures up to 1.400°C and optimized for heavy sliding wear (e.g., clinker chutes, kiln discharge zones).
GAC lines the interior of steel pipelines with centrifugally cast Abresist Fused Cast Basalt pipes (20-30mm thick). Abresist is fully chemically inert against acidic and alkaline wastewater while its permanently glass-smooth surface minimizes flow friction, extending pipeline wear life to over 12 years.
Abresist Fused Cast Basalt is a mineral-based material with high compressive strength but low tensile strength, making it brittle. When large limestone chunks fall from conveyors, heavy kinetic impacts fracture and shatter the basalt tiles. Abresist is best suited for pure sliding wear without direct vertical impact.
Kalcret BTX features a high volume of premium silicon carbide, delivering 3 to 4 times the compressive and flexural strength of generic wear mortars. On-site measurements show that while standard castables fail in 6-9 months, a 25mm-thick Kalcret BTX lining maintains structural integrity for 3 to 5 years.
Kalcret BTX contains ultra-hard silicon carbide aggregates bonded within a high-density, nano-silica cementitious matrix, reaching a compressive strength >130 MPa. Its homogeneous, grain-free structure absorbs the kinetic energy of high-velocity particulates without initiating micro-cracks under continuous sliding abrasion.
As high-velocity (25-30 m/s) coal-laden air streams navigate pipe bends, centrifugal forces concentrate the sharp coal particles against the outer curve (back) of the elbow. This intense aerodynamic erosion cuts through bare steel, leading to dangerous fuel leaks and explosion hazards.
GAC wraps the leading edges of classifier blades with ultra-thin, high-hardness 10mm Kalocer tiles bonded with heat-resistant Kalfix E20 epoxy. The ceramics stop coal fines from cutting the steel blades, keeping separator clearances constant, while the lightweight properties protect the fan’s dynamic balance and draft capacity.
High-speed air streams carrying raw, unground coal fines continuously sandblast the classifier blade edges. As the blades erode, the separator clearance widens, letting oversized coal particles pass into the kiln burners. This causes uneven kiln combustion, directly degrading clinker quality.
