PERFORM® 700 HIGH-STRENGTH STEEL

PERFORM® 700 High-Strength Steel is exclusively manufactured in Germany by thyssenkrupp Steel Europe and is officially stocked and distributed in Vietnam by Gia Anh the authorized partner in Vietnam. Available in a wide range of dimensions and grades, PERFORM® 700 is readily available for immediate delivery.

Developed more than 30 years ago by thyssenkrupp Steel Europe, PAS steels (special structural steels) are now marketed under the PERFORM® brand.

PERFORM® 700 High-Strength Steel is produced using advanced Thermo-Mechanical Rolling (TMR) technology under precisely controlled rolling and cooling conditions, resulting in a unique microstructure with exceptional strength and toughness. The chemical composition of PERFORM® 700 features a low carbon content (maximum 0.12%), increased manganese content, reduced phosphorus and sulfur levels, together with selected micro-alloying elements, enabling PERFORM® 700 High-Strength Steel to achieve mechanical properties far superior to those of conventional structural steels.

APPLICATIONS OF PERFORM® 700 STEEL

PERFORM® 700 High-Strength Steel is widely used in construction, automotive manufacturing, and many other engineering applications where reducing structural weight while increasing load-carrying capacity is essential. Compared with conventional structural steels, it can reduce structural weight by up to 60%. Although many manufacturers are familiar with steels such as HITEN, SPV490, SM490, and SM570, PERFORM® 700 offers 20–45% higher load-bearing capacity than these grades. Whenever lightweight, high-performance structural steel is required, PERFORM® 700 remains the preferred choice.

PERFORM® 700 High-Strength Steel is officially distributed in Vietnam by Gia Anh Trading & Investment Joint Stock Company (GAC).
