However, once the hardness exceeds a certain limit, the material’s impact toughness decreases, making the steel plate more susceptible to cracking under severe impact loads. Therefore, there is a need for a wear-resistant steel that still provides the properties of a high-toughness steel plate. Hardox\u00ae 500 TUF wear-resistant, high-toughness steel<\/strong> was developed to meet this demand.<\/p>\n
